Are you interested in electronics? Would you like to set up your own “electro lab” to conduct amazing experiments, build crazy gizmos, and repair or modify your existing electronics? This workshop helps to gain a full understanding of the basic of electronics with commonly used active and passive electronic components like resistors, capacitors, inductors, transformers, diodes, transistors and electronic hardware like switches, relays, connectors and cables. Students are taught use of basic building blocks of electronic circuits. They also learn soldering and use of test equipments in fault finding. Finally, the students construct a small utility project, which they take home with them.
Aeromodelling is the activity involving design, development and flying of small air vehicles. It is a very exciting and interesting way to learn, apply and understand science and engineering principles.
Aeromodelling generally involves small sized flying objects like Radio Controlled Aircraft (RC Aircraft), Gliders, Ornithopters, Boomerangs and Paper Planes.
Aeromodelling involves a lot of interdisciplinary concepts from various streams of engineering - primarily Aerospace/ Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical and Computer Science. Aeromodelling gives a good understanding of the roles each of these engineering skills play in real aircraft industry and provides enormous opportunities to develop innovative thinking and implementation.
This workshop will provide students a base to Robotics. In our workshop, the students will gain hands-on experience on the wireless Technology i.e. Radio Frequency Control. This workshop
will guide the students to use the technology in the productive manner. They can build their very own custom instructions for the Robot.
